About Midhill Health Foundation

A story of legacy, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to serve the communities that need it most.

Our Purpose

What Drives Us

🎯

Our Mission

To elevate health outcomes and bridge care gaps by delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare and education, empowering individuals and communities to thrive in close partnership with Midhill Hospital.

Our Motto

"Health is a Right, Not a Privilege"

Every life matters. Every person deserves dignity, care, and the chance to be well wherever they are.

🌍

Our Vision

A society where everyone achieves optimal health, regardless of their starting point, where health disparities are eliminated and every step toward wellness is supported by a strong, compassionate community.

Our Story

Rooted in legacy. Driven by purpose.

Midhill Health Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Midhill Hospital, established in 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya. Inspired by a deep commitment to community health, the Foundation was founded by Dr. Ciru Kinuthia and her siblings to honour the enduring legacy of their parents, Dr. Priscilla Gateri and Mr. Peter Gateri, who founded Midhill Hospital in 1989.

Rooted in this legacy of service, Midhill Health Foundation is dedicated to advancing holistic and sustainable health solutions for underserved communities. As a registered nonprofit in Kenya, we work to bridge health disparities, empower individuals and families, and foster healthier, more resilient communities for generations to come.

Since our founding, we have conducted 10+ community outreaches, delivered a landmark Medical Camp serving 1,000+ people, and built powerful partnerships with KARIKA Kenya, CESSO Kenya, and communities across Nairobi, with ambitions to grow far beyond.
